Sincerely Lindsay Design Co. was hired to renovate this 1960’s style rancher in Port Moody, B.C. While the home had excellent bones and an even more beautiful outdoor space, the interior didn't reflect the family's personal taste.  We began by removing walls between the living room and dining room to create an open concept floor plan, perfect for this growing family. We added French doors and 2 large windows so the huge backyard is visible from the kitchen and easily accessible for summer entertaining on the patio.  By removing walls, and adding large windows and french doors, this home is now flooded with light. The home now has an open and airy feel, designed in a mostly white palette with pops of colour in the artwork and accessories. The kitchen palette is white with soft grays and an incredible wall of lit glass cabinetry.  We added interest by selecting a subtle grey and white cement tile backsplash. The countertops are carrara marble which adds to the timeless character of this renovation. The walls throughout are clad in shiplap which adds visual interest and an infusion of coastal charm. The plumbing fixtures, lighting, and cabinetry hardware are all gold tones to add just the right amount of warmth and sparkle.  We used a stunning pink and green floral wallpaper as an accent in the daughter’s room paired with a very softly sophisticated pink wall colour. The master bedroom is light and airy like the rest of the home, with a shiplap feature wall and a stunning hand carved reclaimed wood headboard.

We were referred to Sincerely Lindsay Design Co. by a friend who had previously worked with her on their new build in West Vancouver.  We were thrilled that she was able to take on our renovation as one of her projects. Her signature style is exactly what we were looking for and the end result is better than we could’ve ever imagined!  I can’t recommend Sincerely, Lindsay Design Co. enough. We felt confident that we were in good hands with this company. Everything from the design presentation, to the drawings, to the specification package is very professional and detailed.  She works with great trades who are respectful and talented. Lindsay’s passion for her work is contagious and she makes the entire process a fun experience.
