From finishing materials, to decor, to fashion - I’m excited to share with you my favourite items for this month!⁣

Rebecca Atwood

Dotted Lines Wallpaper

I’m really into adding wallpaper to a kitchen space lately. It’s a creative way to add colour and pattern with less commitment than tiling the entire wall. Of course, it’s important to protect the areas with tile that will get the most splash up from cooking but beyond that, why not consider using a pretty wallpaper. It’s an easy way to add a ton of unique charm in the blink of an eye.

CF Interiors

Lunas Oval Dining Table

Softly arched shapes are experiencing a revival these days. The arch has been a shape we’ve seen in architecture since the 3rd and 4th century. I love everything from an arched front entry to a stunning dining table like this. A piece as functional as it is artistic.

Theora by Sea NYC

Thread Pull Cotton Top

This Thora by Sea NYC top is from the upcoming Spring 22 trunk show. It’s a structured yet feminine piece I’m dying to get my hands on. I’m so in love the eyelet detail, the exaggerated puff sleeves and fluted wrist details.

Updated: Nov 1, 2021

If you’re anything like me, it’s always a tiny bit sad to see the close of summer. I live and breathe by the sunshine and light of the summertime. As like most others, we’ve spent the warm, summer days trying to live outside as much as we can. Now that the weather is starting to change and the days will gradually get darker, it makes sense to turn our focus inwards and add cozy layers to our interiors. Rattans and woven woods are still having a huge moment and we love them for the soft, organic touch they add to our projects. In an effort to embrace the changing season, I find myself drawn to warmer, darker tones in wallpaper, rugs and fashion too. Here are our favourite picks for the month of September.

Serena and Lily Scallop Pendant

The scalloped edge adds a bit of a feminine twist on all the woven lights we’ve been seeing.

Cle Tile Zellige

One of the questions I get asked most by clients is “is this a trend?” Will it be out of style in the next few years?” I’m no clairvoyant but here’s my prediction… Rustic, naturally weathered finishes are going to be around for the foreseeable future. Handmade Zellige by Cle tile adds a ton of character and depth to a space and adds a touch of timeless elegance.

& Other Stories Tiered Puff Cotton Sleeve Midi Dress

Some September days the sun is still too warm for truly Fall clothing. The perfect transition from Summer to Fall dress.

Four Hands Georgina Wide Mirror

Arches are all the rage, this mirror is the perfect combo of soft curves in a classic shape.

Ulla Johnson Emmy Gathered Shoulder Cardigan

The perfect statement piece for the upcoming season. Wear it over a dress, paired with ankle boots for a transitional Summer to Fall look.

Devol Kitchen Aged Brass Ionian Faucet

Brass is still very much a thing in the world of design. You’ll see less polished brass but more un-lacquered brass finishes that age and patina beautifully over time. The aging process is all part of the beauty and charm. This is my current favourite un-lacquered brass faucet.

Sea NYC Margot Tank

Loving this transitional piece that looks just a little bit Summer but just a little bit Fall.

Serena and Lily Priano Wallpaper, Grove

Even the perpetually summery designs from Serena and Lily are turning a little moodier for Fall. Their traditional spring green Priano paper now comes in a more muted, sage green colourway for the cooler months.

Sika Designs Rossini Chair

Something so timeless, so classic about this French bistro chair that is a good look all year round.
