This stunning, newly built home is located in a highly desirable area in North Vancouver.  We were fortunate enough to be hired for this project before they broke ground, this allowed us to create a beautiful concept that optimized the functionality of the floorplan. We began by creating a design concept based on the client’s wish list. Throughout the project, our team worked alongside the contractor to ensure the home reflected the client's decisions made in the design phase. The floors throughout are a wide plank, medium tone wood, which grounds the entire space and provides an organic feel. All of the walls in the home were painted a soft, serene white to keep the home feeling airy and mimic the feel of an art gallery. We added drama with oversized Visual Comfort brass light fixtures and an incredibly beautiful painted island in a striking green colour. The backsplash is a timeless and easily cleanable ceramic tile with a geometric pattern. Early on, our clients expressed the desire to keep everything organized. So, we designed custom storage solutions for pot and pans, baking sheets, as well as oils and spices. The small powder room off the kitchen was the perfect spot to have some fun and create some drama. We began by painting the walls a dark forest green and picked a bold, geometric encaustic cement tile for the floor. The wall mounted plumbing fixtures with a cross handle style in a chrome finish give the space a timeless feel. This home is a perfect blend of contemporary and traditional. We are so proud of the end result!
