When these wonderful clients purchased this stunning property, they knew right from the first walk through that the location and the layout of the home was absolutely perfect for their blended family! However, the dark finishes, dated paint colours and overall aesthetic were definitely not their style. Since we've completed several renovations in the past few years with these clients, we were so excited to be working together again and set out to completely renovate every square inch of this home, including a complete gut of the interior space including all of the interior and exterior finishes.

Since these are repeat clients, we are well versed in their personal style and we were able to present them with a gorgeous design concept early on. We decided to lighten and brighten the entire home from top to bottom. We began by removing the dark brown wood flooring and replaced it with a stunning wide plank, white oak engineered hardwood. The colour palette in this home was kept very simple with one gorgeous white paint colour throughout and we opted to add touches of colour with wallpaper, art and accessories.

The award winning kitchen was completely renovated from top to bottom, starting with beautiful white oak cabinetry and finished with handmade Zellige tiles shipped in from Morocco via California. We added rustic brass details in the metals which adds a beautiful warmth and sparkle throughout the home.

The Powder Room has a perfect splash of green colour in a leafy print wallpaper. It looks fresh and inviting and is the perfect complement to the woven rattan light fixture.

Each bathroom was completely custom designed for our clients. One bathroom is a feminine mix of blush pink grass cloth wallpaper and herringbone marble tile. The other bathroom is a more masculine concept with white oak millwork and soft grey accents. The end result is a home that looks and feels completely custom designed but retains a cohesive design concept throughout the entire home.

The colour palette throughout feels soft and subtle with touches of green wallpaper, soft blue and green rugs and fresh peachy toned accessories.

Both the front entry, kitchen and dining room have unique oversized light fixtures that add drama and style to each space. The beaded chandelier in the dining room gives the room a sophisticated yet casual, coastal feel. The linen drapery throughout adds to the overall feeling of a sophisticated, coastally inspired home.

Everything in this project was carefully considered, including the addition of stunning French doors off the dining room and kitchen. The door hardware throughout the home is a beautiful combination of brass and crystal. 

The overall feel of this home is a perfect blend of coastal sophistication with a dash of relaxed charm. These clients and their extended family are absolutely thrilled with the end result and we are so proud to have designed this beautiful home for them.
