This adorable AirBnB is located in North Vancouver, B.C. The initial design inspiration came from the existing exposed brick in this unit. It was from there we created a design that felt like an  industrial, New York loft complete with exposed fir beams, and a clean, contemporary palette. For the millwork in the kitchen, we chose to do a combination of high gloss white upper cabinetry with a gorgeous wood for the lower cabinetry and island. The black plumbing fixtures combined with the brick fireplace really gives this space an industrial feel. The finishes in the kitchen are carried through into the stunning bathroom. Not a detail was missed in this incredible space. We started by selecting a durable yet gorgeous ceramic tile for the floor and carried it right through to the shower. We opted for a simple subway tile on the shower walls to offset the drama of the pattern on the floor. The heated towel warmers and heated tile floor add touches of luxury that takes this space to the next level. The mirror and sconce lights are an inexpensive yet design forward way to add finishing touches. The bathroom is a real showstopper in this home. The shower boasts modern plumbing fixtures including a rain head shower feature and a coveted heated towel rack perfect for cold, rainy days. The flooring throughout is a warm and sophisticated bleached white oak hardwood floor. To add further rustic charm we added a shiplap feature in the master bedroom that acts as a headboard. The lighting was kept deliberately simple in this project except for the dramatic, black, articulating wall sconces in the master bedroom.  The custom millwork in this home allows for amazing storage capacity.
