This eclectic family home is located in Port Moody, B.C. From the very first meeting, we absolutely fell in love with these clients and were excited by their vision. We began the project with a walk through of the existing space to gauge what our clients wishes were and what changes could be made to the layout.  They love to cook and entertain throughout the year and asked us to create an open concept space so they could comfortably fit their family and friends. We wanted the feel of their home to capture their dynamic and sophisticated personalities, while keeping just the right amount of casualness and comfort. The completely renovated interior boasts a fresh and happy vibe.  We replaced the old dated cabinets with glossy, flat slab custom millwork and classic carrara marble hexagon tiles. We chose a durable, hard wearing, luxury vinyl tile for the flooring throughout. This was the perfect choice for a busy family, with kids and a dog. The palette in the home is a bright white, a perfect way to combat the often rainy and dark Vancouver winters.  The touch of navy blue on the kitchen island keeps the space from feeling too austere. We removed walls to add visual space, incorporated some coastal charm and rustic texture with the woven pendant lights and a stunning fir beam to add support and incredible architectural detail. We selected all new, contemporary plumbing fixtures in a timeless polished chrome finish and added copper toned hexagon cabinetry hardware for an unexpected touch of sparkle and colour. For furniture and accessory selections, we infused the home with a blend of transitional, collected and modern touches throughout. The end result is a home that feels well travelled and curated. We enjoyed every second of designing this home for this amazing family.

Lindsay worked with us on our kitchen renovation and some of the ideas she came up with, which I would never have considered, are now my favorite things about the room! She also talked us out of other ideas that I now look back on with relief. It's my favorite room in the house now and I hope to work with her again on our next project. She is not only very talented, imaginative and dedicated, she is also refreshingly unpretentious and fun to spend time with. I highly recommend both her and her company!
