This project is a designer’s dream!  Not only were these clients fun to work with, they were happy to take design risks and gave us the green light to create a bold design with unique patterns.  Originally from Mexico City, this family is not afraid of colour! As a family of 4 living in a 1000 square foot townhouse, maximizing every square inch and optimizing functionality was incredibly important.  We started by removing the large bathtub, since they already had another one in the home, and replaced it with a luxurious, over-sized shower. By removing the bathtub we were able to reconfigure the layout and incorporate a custom laundry closet to allow for more storage and organization. Which is exactly what this family needed!

We spared no expense with the plumbing selections in this renovation.  We selected modern white and chrome plumbing fixtures by Hans Grohe including a large rain head and body sprays to give this shower a spa like feel.  The incredible details like the heated towel rack and heated tile floors make it so much easier to get out of bed on a cold winter morning.

But without a doubt, the tile selections in this renovation are the true showstoppers.  The electric blue glazed hexagon tile, combined with a modern, matte black and white cement tile floor adds drama and is a perfect nod to their Mexican background.  The bright yellow sconces add a touch of whimsy to this bold design. The elegant wood grain vanity adds a touch of warmth and modernity to this incredible space. We are so proud of this renovation and our clients absolutely love it too!

I hired Lindsay twice already; first to remodel my living room, and the second time for a full master bathroom remodel. Both times Lindsay did a great job at capturing our design style; she was very professional and organized, and really fun to work with. I highly recommend her and her company.
